How do you support Responsible AI in Media & The Creative Industries?

Who can be part of the insitute?

Membership is open to anyone working in, studying, or supporting the creative, media, cultural, and communications sectors. From journalists and producers to designers, technologists, academics, publishers, agencies, and cultural institutions — this is a home for everyone shaping the future of UK media.

What kinds of events do you host?

We run monthly briefings, panel discussions, workshops, micro-sprints, training sessions, and annual flagship events. Our programme focuses on practical AI adoption, ethical practice, creative workflows, policy updates, and sector-wide challenges.

What is the Responsible AI Charter?

The Charter is a  commitment to ethical, transparent, and human-centred AI use across the creative and media industries. Signatories can earn the Responsible AI Practitioner or Responsible AI Organisation badge.

What do members receive?

Members get access to events, workshops, resources, working groups, early policy insights, guidelines, and the Responsible AI badges. Organisational members also receive team seats and visibility opportunities.
